Temptation: until Jesus returns, we will all encounter and face some form of temptation.
Church: what is temptation? Temptation is a great evil in the world, in churches, in ministries, and throughout Christianity. Temptation is a type of test that reflects a diabolical enticement. It generates an evil desire that leads a person into error. When you hear someone say, "I was tempted!", it means they have been subjected to a seduction—an enticement coming from the enemy. Through evil, seduction, and temptation, Satan seeks to destroy a person by shaming and humiliating them, potentially even ruining a ministry, a family, or a reputation. The Christian's enemy seeks to destroy lives that may have taken twenty or thirty years to build up. That is what is called temptation.
Being tempted is not a sin. Sin lies in succumbing to the seduction, in accepting the temptation; the full responsibility rests with the person who allows themselves to be seduced. The temptation is great. It is not in a person's areas of strength, but in their areas of weakness, that the enemy attacks. IT IS TIME TO RESIST! We have the strength to say no!
The major problem during a moment of temptation is to start accusing others—holding them responsible—instead of condemning the sin and accepting personal responsibility.
The Bible, in the book of James, says: "Rather, each person is tempted by their own desire..." This means that within our sinful flesh, we all harbor something that leans toward error—something that attracts and seduces. This desire resides within our carnal nature; once conceived, it gives birth to sin.
There are three areas through which temptations—*peirasmos*, meaning enticement or seduction into error—arrive: the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life.
These are the three areas of the devil's attack. We, as believers in Jesus Christ, have the capacity to say no! Remember: every form of temptation always arises as a questioning to the Will of GOD.
Remember this: every temptation begins with questioning...
Remember, “temptation” is “seduction—the dragging of a person into disobedience”—instigated by the enemy, who seeks one’s harm. Temptation aims to divert a person from obedience to GOD.
Those who lack perseverance fall because, in the moment of testing or temptation, they fail to react. When you resist a strong desire for evil, you become an increasingly persevering person.
As for GOD's tests—the trials... ...of God, are meant to improve the person themselves.
Now, there is one thing I must tell you: GOD IS FAITHFUL! The Word says in 1 Corinthians 10:13: “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind; but GOD is faithful and will not allow you to be tempted beyond your strength; on the contrary, along with the temptation, He will provide a way of escape, so that you may be able to bear it.”
GOD, as we know—in His nature of infinite Mercy and Grace, being the Author of every good gift—never tempts anyone. “GOD proves.” In the original Greek, the word for "to prove" is *dokimion*, and it means: “He tests, He evaluates.”
GOD sometimes allows a situation so that you may become aware of your own faithfulness. This is for your good.

Purpose is the aim, the reason for your existence in this world — what motivates you and gives meaning to your actions, and what is directly linked to your core values and beliefs.
Trials shape us and prepare us for our life's purpose.

Missions are the tasks undertaken to achieve a purpose; they encompass concrete objectives (goals) to be met within a specific timeframe. In other words, you have a single purpose, but you may have multiple missions to fulfill it.
Loving Father, help me to live my purpose today. May each day be an opportunity to fulfill the missions you have entrusted to me.

When GOD/ALLÁH sends us an obstacle as a test, it cannot be ignored. Destiny places it in our path, and it does not simply vanish. If we avoid the lesson now, it will certainly return under different circumstances. We need to learn it. GOD/ALLÁH does not allow us to skip stages; we must respect the process of what is essential for our evolution.
Having resilience is positive, on the other hand, it is essential to have the discernment to distinguish between giving up out of weakness and giving up out of wisdom.

Destiny relates to the situations you will inevitably face along your journey. These can be good, bringing pleasure and joy, but there are also obstacles and difficulties. It is the Heavenly Father who defines our destiny, but you can make choices.
GOD/ALLÁH writes our destiny, but that does not make it unchangeable.

(They may not be conscious of what they are doing).
It is a unique moment dedicated to introspection (*teshuvah*), the meticulous examination of our actions, and a sincere quest for reconciliation—both with the Creator and with our fellow human beings.
On this day, we are invited to look inward, acknowledge our frailties, and seek the purification of the soul. As Jewish tradition teaches us, prayer (*tefillah*) is not merely a plea for our needs, but a profound exercise in "judging oneself"—a path toward transforming into better human beings and renewing our hope.

Let us examine our conduct at leisure. We will see that we are full of faults that harm us—and perhaps those around us, too. We need a good daily examination of conscience that leads to concrete resolutions for improvement, born of genuine sorrow for our shortcomings, omissions, and sins.
Watch and Pray...
One of the best ways to "watch"—as Jesus asks of us—is to perform an examination of conscience every day: a sincere review of our day in the presence of GOD, which can be summarized by the three questions Saint Josemaría sometimes recommended: What did I do well? What did I do wrong? What could I do better tomorrow? It is important to annotate for the maximum result.

Refuse situations that rob you of your peace, and distance yourself from those who do not respect you or do not do you good.
"There's no need to walk on thin ice" means there is no reason to take unnecessary risks or put yourself in a dangerous and unstable situation.

"If the word of GOD were studied as it should be, people would have a more enlightened mind, a nobler character, and firmness of purpose—qualities rarely seen nowadays." — Ellen G. White.
40 pieces of advice from those who have lived so much
By Casapratica360_dicas
The importance of maintaining an ongoing relationship with GOD, nurtured by humility and obedience. Not allowing GOD's blessings to turn into idols in our lives. Maintaining a humble and faithful heart.
Obeying the Word of GOD is fundamental to human life; however, this cannot be used as a bargaining chip to receive benefits from GOD.
Jesus stated: "Whoever is faithful in little is also faithful in much." This means that seemingly simple actions—such as encouraging someone, helping a neighbor, or teaching children at church—are opportunities to demonstrate our faithfulness and love for GOD.
Those who dedicate themselves to selfless efforts for the good of others will certainly be contributing to their own Salvation.

On the journey of survival, much is lost between materiality and morality, but no one can steal our faith — which leads to perseverance and brings peace and happiness.
"Gratitude for the mistakes that taught us more than our successes. Gratitude for the challenges that shaped our character. Gratitude for the reunions that rekindled forgotten memories. Gratitude for the losses that opened new paths. Gratitude for the courage we didn't even know we possessed. Gratitude, above all, for being here—alive and incarnate — on the perfect stage to transform shadow into light, pain into awareness, and chaos into evolution." — Fernando Snervelin
Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of the living GOD, that you died on the cross to rescue me from sin and death and to restore me to the Father.
I choose now to turn from my sins, my self-centeredness, and every part of my life that does not please you. I choose you!
I give myself to you. I receive your forgiveness and ask you to take your righful place in my life as my Savior and Lord.
Come reign in my heart, fill me with your love and your love and your life, and help me to become a person who truly loves exactly a person like you.
Restore me, Jesus. Live in me. Love through me. Thank you, GOD. In Jesus'name I pray. Amen
